Novi Firefighters Burn Drive

The Novi
Anyone in this line of work is not in it for the money or the glory, they are in it because they honestly care about helping others, making lives easier in a time of need, or a stressful situation.
The Burn Drive was founded to help others in need, be it children suffering from burns or regular people who have been dealt a devastating blow, that could really use some support, be it monetary or emotional.
We can not grow without the support of the men and women of local #3232, their friends, and their families. Thanks to the many people who have helped get this off the ground and want to continue the work we are doing, to benefit others.

Re: 2009
Chief,
I am writing to let you know how 2009
The Novi Professional Firefighters coordinated the Adopt-A-Family program for the City of
- 11 Family’s were sponsored by City of Novi Departments
- 50 people had a better Christmas due to the generosity of City of
- 5 Family’s had their gifts delivered by the Novi Fire Dept. so the kids could see the trucks, and meet the fireman.
- 2 Family’s came to St 1 to pick up their gifts, and get a tour of the Fire Station
In addition to working with Holy Family, and various city departments the Novi Professional Firefighters sponsored two family’s this year through
On the morning of December 5th most of the members of Novi Professional Firefighters Union Local 3232 served breakfast at Waldenwoods. We served Waldenwoods I, and then after cleaning up and bussing the tables walked over and served breakfast at Waldenwoods II. While serving breakfast and waiting on the residents we were able to interact, share stories, and find out what interests the residents have. We were very well received and were delighted to have been invited by Waldenwoods management. We would like to make this a Bi Monthly contribution to the senior population in Novi, be it serving breakfast, doing evening activities, sharing stories or just spending time with some of our most valued residents. Everyone that was there asked if we could come back every weekend and have breakfast with them. The following pictures show the fireman interacting with the residents.
The Novi Firefighters were happy to spend the morning interacting with residents and staff at Waldenwoods I and II. We shared stories, experiences, and lots of laughter. It is a great group or residents who we hope to spend time with again soon.
Our next event is the Michigan International Women’s Show at the Rock Financial April 29-May 2nd. We will be doing fashion shows on Friday night and again on Saturday afternoon. We hope to see everyone throughout the weekend to show your support for the Novi Firefighters Burn Drive. Thanks for your help and support throughout the year.
